Lampasas River Bees
I was married to a farmer who showed me what real hard work was all about. I learned how to drive a tractor, bale hay, make sure the family had 3 good “working man” meals a day. The family farm values were instilled in me during my time on the farm and I shared these values with my son, the 5th generation of the family farm. When my mom passed away in Lampasas I left the farm for new start in my hometown of Lampasas, Texas.
Years prior to me moving on the farm a part of the farm was raising bees. Well, there was a drought of the bees for years until they started to return to the area. My son and his dad spend a great deal of their time rescuing bees and bringing them back to the farm for a new chance of life. It was then I realized how important bees are to the farm and us!
Lampasas River Bees brings you all the natural products. I lost my mom five years ago to brain cancer. She always told me I needed to moisturize my skin. After she passed away I felt like my heart was ripped out... as my grieving period started I could hear my mom telling me, “Edie Jane you better moisturize!” LOL! So I went down to the store to find lotion and nothing special... so I started something special and called it, “Nana’s Tribute.”
